Canadian women are starting businesses at a higher rate than women in all other G20 countries, according to a recent global report*. Yet when The Colony Project launched The Common Good Project to support start-ups in 2017, not one applicant was a woman. That's a problem. To solve it, Colony is proud to announce an evolved version of The Common Good Project aimed specifically at supporting female entrepreneurs. The program will offer five start-ups a pro-bono PR and integrated marketing workshop designed to help them better engage their audiences.
The Offering
The Common Good Project   will offer select start-ups strategic communications counsel to empower them to raise their profile and reach new audiences. The agency team, along with a panel of female advisors, will select five women-led companies and offer successful businesses:
  • Customized, private half-day session with some of the industry's leading PR and integrated marketing minds
  • PR counsel: Media and influencer relations insight; social and communication strategy
  • A group brainstorm to develop ideas and opportunities designed to encourage growth
